Cindy Miller has taught thousands to play and enjoy the game of golf. The Class A LPGA Professional and former LPGA Tour Player says her passion lies in helping students "own their game." Teaching them to be comfortable in their own skin and playing their game to their personal strengths, abilities. Though her home base is in Buffalo, New York, she teaches golf schools and retreats all over the world.
A former All-American for the University of Miami, Miller is a veteran of five U.S. Women's Opens and five LPGA Championships. She currently plays on the Legends Tour, where she sits within the top 30 on the career money list.
She has been named the LPGA Teacher of the Year three times and Player of the Year for the Northeastern Section. She is among the LPGA's "Top 50 Teachers�?�, and is regularly listed in Golf Digest Magazine as a Top 50 Woman Teacher in America.
Miller may be best known for her appearance on Golf Channel's "Big Break III: Ladies Only" where her persistence and steady play left her one shot shy of the final championship match.
In addition to her golfing skills, Miller is a sought-after speaker, coach, and corporate trainer. As a Certified Behavior Analyst and Mental Golf Coach, she has developed many programs that train individuals and corporations how to increase performance, communicate effectively, and strive to reach new levels. She has delivered her educational and inspirational programs to: Microsoft, Kraft Foods, Met Life, Key Bank, M & T Bank, Merrill Lynch, Cambridge Investment Research, The PGA of America, National Golf Coaches Association, Guardian, P & G, and Pepsico Co.
She has also written two instructional booklets: The Short Game and Golf 101 for Executives.
Miller is married to PGA Tour veteran Allen Miller. They reside in Silver Creek, New York, and have three grown children.
